Is there a way to print assignment grades from Mimio Grade book?

Answer:

Thank you for your recent submission to Ask a Master. You can generate a variety of reports from MimioStudio Gradebook. Reports are generated as HTML files and are displayed in your default Web browser. The following types of reports can be generated:

Class Grade Report- a grade report for all students in the selected class
Class Activity Report - a detailed report for the selected activity which includes the grades
Student Summary Report- a summary report of all activities for the selected student
Student Activity Report - a detailed report for all selected activities for the selected student.

You can generate reports from the Class, Activity, and Student panes in Gradebook or from the Report menu. For more information on generating reports, please check out the MimioStudio Gradebook section of our "On Demand" videos by following this link: http://www.mimio.com/en-NA/Training/On-Demand-Video-Tutorials.aspx. Viewing Individual Student Responses in MimioVote

Tracy Tishion's picture

I have just started to use the MimioVote system. I have created classes and assigned a handset number to each of my students. I have figured out how to see the overall scores for specific students through generating a report, but I would like to be able to see how they answered on specific questions. Is there a way to see that data?

Answer:

Thanks for writing in. The process to do this is fairly straightforward. You will drill down to view each answer from a student. To do this open the class in the grade book. Next, click on the date, then click on the title of the assessment where you want to look at the individual responses. You now should be able to see each question's responses for each student. If you get the chance check out our other Ask a Master questions and answers for further tips and suggestions!

Saving Calibration Settings

Tracy Tishion's picture

After a summer of no use, I have set up my Mimio and calibrated. How do I save my calibration settings so I don't need to do this each time?

Answer:

You have asked a critical question that many educators face after coming back from summer vacations, saving their calibration settings. It's a straightforward task where you open the Mimio Notebook and select Tools --> Settings --> Interactive from the pull down menu and then check the option to "Use previous calibration". Click apply and OK. You are now all set. I don't recommend that this setting be saved if your classroom is on a lower level and you have classrooms right above you. The movement on the second level could shift your projection if your projector is mounted to the ceiling throwing off the calibration. As always I encourage you to check out all the other Ask a Master submissions and responses for additional tips and suggestions!
