Collaborate to the Core! 2 Lessons


This is an updated sample of lessons designed to tie in with the NEW PDF guide "Collaborate to the Core! 2". The guide provides helpful information for creating your own collaborative classroom. It also includes great tips on how to makeover your classroom into a more collaborative learning space. Download the PDF: "Collaborate to the Core!" below.

You'll find samples of engaging collaborative lessons organized by subject and grade level. Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies lessons are included. These lessons are appropriate for K-12, and can be adapted to fit any level or subject. All lessons meet the Common Core State Standards, include tips, and can be used with or without educational technology.

While the guide suggests methods for incorporating collaborative ideas, these lesson samples are specifically designed to maximize the use of the latest MimioStudio™ classroom software and the MimioMobile™ application for Apple and Android mobile devices as well as supported web-browser devices such as Chromebooks, Surface Pro, and even laptops. You will find examples of how to use the Collaborate features built into MimioStudio software, along with MimioVote™ assessment and open-response assessment options using nearly any type of device with the MimioMobile app.

The file contains a set of hyperlinks, allowing you to easily navigate between the various sample lessons that can be utilized. You'll also find a tips and best practices throughout the PDF providing ideas on how to use the lessons with or without technology and links to various training options and resources.

Mr. Rink, I am truly

Mr. Rink, I am truly impressed with your Mimios... I wish I knew enough about Mimio to create half of what you made. I teach Chemistry and I have only looked into anything related to oxidation numbers formulas and naming and reaction types and I am excited to see what you have created for the rest of my textbook. Amazing work! I wish Mimio would function a little more like power point but I am so ecstatic to get my kids playing these games I've downloaded from your account. Thank you thank you thank you!
