Summary:
Hopefully you've noticed some of the "Get More" lessons on MimioConnect in the last couple months! We have been taking lessons created by YOU, we apply the Instructional Design Components, and reshare them. Please let us know if you have a lesson that you'd like us to highlight in this series!
The latest lesson comes from "Sound Sort", which was created by MimioConnect user teach314. This lesson is very timely for this part of the school year! The author came up with a great concept of reviewing beginning sounds. We applied the instructional design components of Aesthetics, Collaboration, and Originality. The layout of each page allows for more room and opportunities to practice the skills, along with a variety of layouts. There are plenty of ideas for collaboration with mobile devices too. This lesson includes many of the MimioStudio 11 features; if you have not downloaded the newest version, be sure to do so at www.mimio.com.
Download and refer to the Using Instructional Design Components PDF for more information on how to achieve positive learning outcomes with your students from your Mimio lessons.
Please download both lessons so that you can see the great work from user teach314 as well as the “Get More” version. Please let us know if you have a lesson we can share in this series!
