Summary:Use this activity as practice in measuring with non-standard units. To reinforce the concept of measuring from the beginning of an object to the end, guiding lines are included.
Directions: First move the black guiding lines to the beginning and end of the object you are measuring. Then use the non-standard objects to measure from one line to another. Be sure to discuss that you have to measure from the beginning to the end of the object and that the objects you use to measure with should touch but not overlap.
