Astronomy Week Lessons?

I downloaded the Solar System lesson, but I want to add more content and activities to it so that I can use it with my class. I am looking for some ideas and for some advise. Has anyone else uploaded the Solar System lesson? Would anyone else be willing to share their customized Solar System lesson? Thanks!

I do not have a customized

I do not have a customized Solar System lesson (yet) but I was brainstorming some interactive activities you could add. If you have the MimioMobile maybe you can have them complete a crossword puzzle, or use they can just go up to the board. While I was looking for outside sources I found out that NASA's website has a collection of interactive videos along downloads that you could add to the lesson. Those videos would probably be more geared to high school, however.

Astronomy week

Hey Joe, I used many things from the gallery and added some things of my own. I will download mine. One thing that my 4th grade students loved doing was putting the planets in the correct order. I made it a game with 4 students per group and each group was timed. The group with the fastest time won- in my class this meant they got a skittle. Amazing what they will do for one skittle. :)

I added more questions

Hey Joe, I added a few more Vote questions to the Solar System lesson. I am also getting iPads next year. I am really excited to try out the collaborative part of the lesson. I will upload and share my version of this lesson tomorrow when I get to school.
