Lesson Plans & Activities

Gameboard for any subject area

Summary:

Teams compete to answer questions correctly in order to advance to the top of the game and win the Wonka Bar.
Directions:
1) Split the teams into 4 groups and assign each group a character (Frodo, Harry, Katniss, or Willy Wonka)

2) The teacher has questions prepared. Decide which order the team will answer the questions. Then, pose a question to one group. If they get it correct, they get to roll the dice and advance on the gameboard. If they get the question incorrect, they do not advance and, the same question is given to the next team.

3) Repeat the process until one team has reached the top.

This game board is great for

This game board is great for all subject areas and grade levels. You could use this for adults or High School by just changing the characters. Could be objects (like Monopoly) to make it truly adaptable. I will definately use this for my training sessions and to show new Mimio users that they can get more creative just by looking at templates like these in MimioConnect. Thanks for creating it.

I think this is a great way to engage adults in my technology classes who are leaning to use Mimio. It's a great way to show how much fun Mimio can be.

Nice use of Studio to get

Nice use of Studio to get people engaged. I can see using this template in any subject area. I do quite a bit of MimioStudio training and can use this activity to gauge what my class already knows about the technology.

Awesome

Very good game, adaptable to whatever topic you're about to present. Very good to practice before an exam, instead of writing a lot of practice. Ludic way for testing orally, whatever objective you pretend to reach. Thanks for sharing
