Quality Content Criteria
This is your chance to prove you are the best at building Mimio lessons using proven teaching methodologies together with 21st century classroom technologies. In building your lesson, refer to this summary checklist. The Mimio Content Team will judge against the following criteria to choose a contest winner:
  • Focus is on student interactivity, not teacher interactivity.
  • The learning objective is student-focused.
  • The learning objective is observable and measurable.
  • If assessment is included, it must be appropriate to the learning objective.
  • There are many opportunities for the student to practice the skills we are teaching them.
  • The screen is uncluttered.
  • If animation is used it has a purpose.
  • The instruction is sequenced from easy to difficult and/or from few to many.
  • The screen does not include irrelevant cues that give away the correct answer.
