Vistas totales: 5412
Resumen:

The students view a page of 6 book covers. Discuss what genre each would fall under. There is a dictionary, thesaurus, atlas, encyclopedia, as well as fiction books (Dr. Seuss, Geronimo Stilton, Diary of A Wimpy Kid, and 2 biographies. (Actually, an autobiography of MLK and a biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The students erase under the picture of the book and the answer appears.
I think this a fun review. I have made 2 pages with 6 examples on each.
More can be added as the students become more and more proficient.

Eraser Tool to Reveal Genre Answers

Great way to engage students. Have students erase the answer is a fun way to keep them engage and curious. Great LA lesson to use in the media center!

Library Media

This is a quick, simple lesson that allows the students to demonstrate mastery of different types of books. I would probably expand of this lesson--and give credit for the ideas. Nicely done.
