Summary:Students first should review the rhythm to the melody. Then, the teacher models the first couple of melodies by dragging either an "S" or "M" to label the pitch correctly. Once the pitches are labeled, the students should sing through the pitches, ignoring rhythm. Once the pitches are accurately sung, the rhythm should be added to the singing. Once successful, turn to the next page to have the correct pitches labeled in addition to the lyrics to the melody, which can now be sung. After a couple of modeled melodies, a student can come to the board and label the pitches, with or without the assistant of the class. There are several melodies that include only Sol and Mi, and eventually La is added to other melodies.
